Chronic Stress Detectable in Your Hair

After discovering cortisol (a stress hormore) deposits in ancient Peruvian mummies dating back to 550-1000 AD, scientists are paying closer attention to what our hair says about us. This stress indicator might be able to show those at risk for heart attacks.

This conceptual study is still researching ways to use this information to better predict future ailments. In the meantime, be on the look out for more answers hidden in those luscious locks of yours.
